“Cause you can’t jump the track,we’re like cars on a cable
and life’s like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button, girl…”
Those lyrics always awaken the spontaneous side of me…so today, Londy and I decided to take the day off from our normal life! We left the house at 4 a.m. and went hiking. But not just any old hiking – rock scrambling the Labyrinth cliffs near the Mohonk Mountain House. It was amazing to leave the phone and laptop at home and not worry about checking my emails! If you need a break, take the day off and drive somewhere far, far away from home! It works, I promise.
Nice and easy in the beginning…like a stroll in the park!
But then, it started getting tough! We’re definitely going to feel it tomorrow…
We finally took a break half-way there… =)
When we finally made it, the view was so worth it!
After a 2 hour hike up, we took the easy way down… =)

I’ve been here with my family–it’s so beautiful. Especially on a nice day!
It was gorgeous…and way more fun than I expected. If I can convince any of my friends that hiking is fun I’ll be going back soon.
I’m an LWL member, too, and you’ve been tagged! Please visit http://www.sweetposydesigns.com for more information! =)
